Before you activate, please read!

| This is an IoT device — not a cell phone. It does not operate on normal cell phone, smartphone, or broadband plans. It connects only on a Machine-to-Machine (M2M) / IoT plan. |
1 – Ask Verizon for an unrestricted M2M / IoT plan by name.
It must allow mobile-terminated (MT) connections — this is the only plan type that will activate the device. No other plan will work.
2 – Confirm your account supports M2M/IoT before the line is added.
It isn’t enabled on every account — your Verizon account manager can turn it on if needed.
3 – Activate through your Verizon Business account manager.
Find them in your My Business Account. New account? Tell Verizon up front you need M2M/IoT for an IoT device. Don’t use retail or consumer channels.
