Abstract
As electric utilities, industrial facilities, and renewable generation sites expand into remote off-grid locations, reliable cellular connectivity is not always available. Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communications, specifically Starlink, offer a high-bandwidth, low-latency alternative for field telemetry. Power Monitors, Inc. cloud-enabled power quality recorders, including the Tensor, Bolt, Seeker, Seeker+ (Wi-Fi and Ethernet configurations), and Revolution, can be paired with Starlink systems to stream power quality data into the PQ Canvass platform.
