Abstract
Distribution automation replaces operations that used to require a crew in a truck with operations a device performs on its own, in seconds, without anyone watching. A power quality monitor on that feeder records the result. It does not record the reason, so what the recording shows is a disturbance that is in fact part of a successful automatic response.
