Abstract
Setting up a power quality recorder has always meant double-checking the circuit type and every current transformer (CT), the clamp that measures current. A CT on the wrong phase or clamped backwards can throw off your data, and you might not notice until you review it. That might be an incorrect power sign, invalid power measurements, or incorrect power factor. The Seeker+ now handles much of that checking for you. Before each recording begins, it automatically identifies the circuit type and corrects common hookup mistakes programmatically.
