Introducing the BOLT Power Quality Analyzer

Good afternoon, everyone. This is Chris Mullins here from Power Monitors, and we’re really excited to show you the BOLT. This is our latest quality analyzer, and it’s the smallest and most rugged that we’ve designed, or that anyone’s ever seen, really.

We’re gonna take you behind the scenes here at PMI in our test lab to show you how we’re testing the BOLT to make sure it’s gonna be rugged and reliable in the field.

Testing the BOLT

We’re gonna be doing a whole battery of tests to the BOLT to show that, and that includes:

  • Electrostatic discharge testing
  • Transient burst immunity testing
  • Hi-pot testing
  • Drop tests
  • Temperature environmental testing to make sure it’s accurate over temperature
  • Submerging testing

Upcoming Video Series

Over the next few weeks, we’re gonna be releasing short videos, one at a time, to show you the results of these tests. You’ll see how we’re doing each of these tests and how the BOLT fares on each of these stress tests.
