Compression Test Setup

Now, we’ve tested the bolt design and tension. For this next test, we’re gonna test the tube and compression. We’re going to use some equipment to see what kind of compressive forces the bolt tube can withstand. We go above and beyond what a normal power quality device typically withstands.

Test Results

2000. 29-3. 3350. Yeah, she’s done. That one saw 3500.

So, as we saw, in compression, the bolt tube withstood over 3000 pounds of force, a very strong 3D printer design.
