Features & Benefits
The Seeker GPS Antenna provides an optional enhancement for the Seeker Power Quality Recorder by enabling high-resolution timestamping for applications requiring greater timing precision during power quality investigations. While SNTP time synchronization is included as a standard feature of the Seeker, the optional GPS antenna offers an additional level of timing accuracy that can improve event sequencing and correlation during detailed system analysis.
This added timestamping capability can be valuable when evaluating disturbances across multiple locations or reviewing time-sensitive power quality events where precise timing alignment supports troubleshooting and operational visibility. Utilities and engineers can benefit from improved confidence in recorded event timing when investigating feeder behavior or abnormal system conditions.
Its magnetic mount design supports fast installation and flexible placement during field deployment, while the compact, low-profile form factor allows for unobtrusive setup in a variety of monitoring environments. The antenna supports GPS/Galileo functionality and includes a 3 m RG-174 cable with SMA male straight connector for connection to the Seeker.
Built for demanding utility environments, the antenna features IP67 waterproof protection and rugged environmental durability, making it well suited for long-term field monitoring applications requiring dependable timing performance.
